Is that a joke? Did somebody really think that this commercial would INCREASE interest in Tae Kwon Do? I would think you would be immediately ridiculed if you were seen walking into that dojang after that commerical aired.
Vu always jokes that the first thing you have to do before you open a TKD dojang is paint dragons on the windows. I always thought this was a little harsh but this commercial may just add some credence to his point.
As for your question, I think historical records (St George vs. the Dragon among others) show that 95% of all dragon slaying goes to the ground. So, obviously, BJJ would be the way to go vs. a dragon. (But then if there were multiple dragons, you wouldn't want to get stuck grappling...)
BK Price, I have seen some horrible marketing, but the scary thing is that this might work... if you only want under 10 year olds in your dojang. And LOL at the groundfighting comment. Too shay!
Anon, I don't hate them, but I understand where you're coming from. They're the future of our arts, so may we teach them the proper dragon fighting techniques!
You guys think that was a real dragon? I think that was their teacher dressed up in a dragon suit. I thought only in San Francisco would people wear pajamas to the park, guess times are changing

The worst part about this is all of the black belt kids. Nothing I hate more then under 18 black belts.
Fightgeek, I also LMAO.

I remember the first time I killed a dragon. It took more effort than the kid in the commercial is exerting.
Either the kids have gotten tougher, or I killed all the tough dragons.
Kids nowadays, they have no IDEA how easy they have things....
