Light posting. I am at home today, painting. If someone can figure out how this can benefit my martial arts, please let me know. As far as I can tell it's just making my shoulders sore! Wasn't there a movie about something like this?

Painting is good for breathing. In on the up stroke, out on the down stroke - in to the right, out to the left. Excellent balance practice if your on a ladder doing overhead work. I suppose you can relate anything to anything if you really try, LOL! Blair
p.s. try and relax those shoulders and upper body. You'll generate a lot more speed if that old painting task can help train the muscles to relax when asked to do a specific task. LOL again! Blair
Thank you, Blair. It all makes so much more sense now! I have now reached a level of mastery known only to gawky teenage misfits under the tutelage of Japanse masters who are working as maintenance men and part-time gardners for apartment complexes! Does this mean I will get beat up by some blonde kids in the next few days??? :-)
