One-One-Two Combination

Boxing's most basic and successful combination is undoubtedly the 1-2 (Jab, then rear straight
or cross), but how do you close the gap to get it in there? Try the 1-1-2!

1. Lead-off fighter on the right initiates the attack

2. First jab closes the gap and forces a parry by the counter-fighter

3. The over-parry by the counter-fighter on the left leaves him open for...

4. The second jab, which connects, knocking the counter-fighter off balance and back on his heels (nullifying the basis of his stance so he can't fire back effectively)

5. The two connects cleanly and the counter-fighter is open for more punishment
