The Double Lapel Grab

In many ways, one of the dumbest (unless one is a Judoka or Jujutsua) moves one would use to initiate a serious attack, the lapel grab is very common.
It is common because it's used to intimidate and control a smaller person that probably would't fight back. In a way, this is an advantage for the "victim"," because the attacker doesn't expect resistance at all.

This scenario and counter is excellent, and superbly written. Please print it and give it a try in training. This is what we're working on now, so it's just what the doctor ordered! Click the link and enjoy!
