Pretty interesting series in Hock's April Blog. He talks about what he calls "laying down and dying," which in Japanese budo is also called uke, or the receiver of the technique (AKA victim). His contention is that in police and military simulated scenarios, it builds a bad reflex when getting hit - laying down and dying! Read it.
